Last weekend saw a large south swell march up the east coast of Australia. While Sydney and surrounds were 8-12 foot, northern New South Wales was pulling in 4-6 foot, while the Gold Coast (notorious for missing the party) was a respectable 3-5 foot. The local boys make the most of tightly packed sand behind the rock at Snapper (minus wave hounds Mick and Joel, who were returning from J-Bay).
