He’d been surfing shitty waves from one destination to another for four years on what was known as the Qualifying Series (now ASP Star and Prime events). So it came as a huge relief for him when he scored a ticket to the, “Dream” Tour. Unbeknown at the time of qualification, the Tour was to have a mid-year field reduction.
