The run of east swell has been exceptional on the Gold Coast. But with the east window shutting down for a few days and the masses fighting off the wall at D’bah, the sniff of a solid south swell hitting below the QLD/NSW border was luring for the guys. So yesterday, with the cars filled, the promise of fun, sand-bottom wedges, we drove until we scored!

We generally avoid telling people were we find fun waves (in respect for locals so our cars aren’t waxed), but if you’ve been here, one glimpse at this shot and you’ll know where it is.
