Bells had a bit on this morning. Junky, raw and rugged sums it up nicely. Before Round Two hit the water, the pros spent 45 minutes warming up. We tend to avoid slow shutter, particularly when there’s only a quick window before heats start, because it’s highly technical and there’s so much margin for error (that’s just the nature of the technique). But the conditions were lacking quality, so what better way to make them visually appealing and convey a sense of artistic motion.
